Clair Harves

Since I was very young, I have always had horses. My equine journey began in Ohio and as soon as I could walk and talk I was riding. I had a great coach, my mom, who shared her passion for horses and riding with me. Growing up, I was showing throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. My favorite places to show have been Traverse City, Wellington, Ocala, New York and Kentucky.

 My riding experience and skills have continued to develop by riding with some top trainers like Polly Howard and Anne Kursinski. Over the course of my career thus far, I enjoy Hunters and Equitation, but my focus is more on Jumpers, which probably helps to explain why I have achieved most of my success with Jumpers. I was most successful in Junior Jumpers up to 1.40m.

 My work and showing experience include spending a fair amount of time in Southern California with top Hunter and Jumper barns and being mentored by Peter Lombardo and Mark Kinsella. Now my career aspirations bring me back to Florida and to Shore Acres Farm. I am thrilled to be here and working with this amazing team and wonderful horses!
