I started my riding career 20 years ago at Saddle Rowe Farm in my hometown of Medway, Massachusetts. During my junior years, I worked with top trainers in New England, such as Mary Beth McGee, Yaron Zohar, Cyndy and Frake Van Der Meer, and Greg Prince.
In 2012, the University of Tennessee at Martin recruited me to ride for the NCAA Division I Equestrian Team. I graduated from UT Martin in 2015 with degrees in political science and public relations, and then earned my Master of Arts in education at Union University in 2016. After graduation, I worked for a marketing firm, traveling on behalf of Fiat Chrysler Automotive for two years and Mercedes Benz Commercial for a year. While working in marketing, I started my own small sales and training program, Barros Sporthorses I re-trained off-the-track thoroughbreds and worked with young warmbloods. Over the past few years, I have been focused predominantly on hunters, hunter derbies, and eventing, where I have been competing up to training level.
I am excited to be a member of the team at Shore Acres Farm. I look forward to teaching students, training the horses, and representing their wonderful young Warmbloods that are for sale.
